What? You’ve never heard of the Pegaso Z-102? You have now. All pictures by yours truly at Rétromobile 2015 in Paris.
Most had desmodromic valve gear, a thing not often encountered, and all had four cam all-alloy V8s, not often encountered at the time. The supercharged model was for a time the fastest production car in the world, if you accept that a car made in such small numbers could be deemed to be production. Bodies were individually coachbuilt so no two are quite the same.
Note the correct location of the steering wheel in most cases.

Is it me, or do the wheelbases on some of those look absurdly short...or is it just the pictures?

No mention of the z-102 is complete without showing the yellow cupola.
My favorite is this red and black one

Well, they’re two seaters so I guess they would be.
Compare this Austin Healey from the same era:

I dunno, the Healey’s wheelbase still seems longer, but it could also be the Pgaso’s rear overhang just seems phenomenally long to me!
